On January 27 of this year, at a video and selector meeting held under the leadership of our Head of State, important tasks were set to combat the shadow economy, ensure transparency of economic processes, and strengthen control over revenues to the state budget. As part of the implementation of these tasks, inventory work is being carried out in 3 markets and trade complexes in the Pakhtachi district of the Samarkand region.
As a result of the measures taken, 29 business entities were fully equipped with online cash registers and payment terminals, 47 business entities were connected to the QR code system, 25 lease agreements were issued, 75 citizens were registered, 42 self-employed persons were restored, and 39 informal workers were legalized and legality was ensured.
Practical recommendations are also provided on reducing the shadow economy, formalizing informal jobs, providing customers with purchase receipts from online check-in machines, and properly using the Paynet impartial platform.
Such targeted and systematic measures taken serve to eliminate the shadow economy, strengthen the honest business environment, and increase budget revenues.
