In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on December 5, 2019, No. PP-4544 "On measures to further improve public procurement system and to broadly involve business entities in public procurement process" starting from April 1, 2020 gradual transition to electronic procedures of tender bidding in the field of public procurement is envisaged.

Introduction of information and communication technologies into the public procurement process and the conduct of procurement procedures in electronic form provides greater level of transparency and competition in the public procurement market, leads to lower prices and saves budget funds.
