The Presidium of the Cabinet of Ministers
The Presidium of the Cabinet of Ministers is a permanent body of the Cabinet of Ministers. The Presidium of the Cabinet of Ministers includes the Prime Minister, deputies and advisers to the Prime Minister, ministers, chairmen of state committees, as well as the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
At a meeting of the Presidium of the Cabinet of Ministers, the following are considered:
issues of organizing the execution of orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
draft laws submitted to the Legislative Chamber by way of legislative initiative;
issues within the competence of the Cabinet of Ministers, with the exception of issues that, in accordance with this Law, are subject to consideration exclusively at meetings of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The organization and preparation of the meeting of the Presidium of the Cabinet of Ministers is carried out by the apparatus of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Meetings of the Presidium of the Cabinet of Ministers are held weekly by the Prime Minister, and in his absence - by one of his deputies.
The procedure for preparing issues for consideration at meetings of the Presidium of the Cabinet of Ministers is determined by the Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The decisions taken at the meetings of the Presidium of the Cabinet of Ministers are published in the form of minutes and signed by the chairman.
