Today is a great and glorious date in our history - May 9, the Day of Remembrance and Honor and the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II. I sincerely congratulate you, our dear compatriots, especially our esteemed veterans.
The names of thousands of our compatriots who showed examples of courage and self-sacrifice in the war of 1941-1945 are eternally precious to us. Each of them, with their lives and heroism, created the foundation for the peace of our country and our peaceful life today. Today, we stand before them, are proud of their sacrifice, honor those who have died, show love and respect.
The memory of our compatriots who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the Motherland and the bright future of our people will live forever in our hearts. We are always grateful for the peaceful and prosperous life we have achieved thanks to them.
