Adminstration of the Nuratinsky District, Navoi Region

The governor of Nurota district, A. Faiziev, held a meeting with representatives of the China Energy Company of the People's Republic of China. During the meeting, the work on a large energy complex, including a 300 MW solar power plant and a 150 MW energy storage system being built in the district, was discussed.

During the discussion, views were exchanged on the preparatory processes, construction stages, and technical and economic solutions within the project.

The meeting paid special attention to the issue of ensuring employment of the population, and proposals and plans for providing local citizens with seasonal jobs during the construction process were considered.

This project is expected to significantly increase the share of renewable energy in Nurota district, strengthen the stability of electricity supply, and make a significant contribution to the economic and social development of the region.
