(A report from the City Mayor’s reception)
As we reported earlier, today the Mayor of Nukus, A. Daniyarov, held another regular reception for citizens (https://t.me/nukus_presssa/5721). During the dialogue, which lasted for over three hours, the head of the city personally listened to 32 appeals and gave specific instructions to responsible officials for the resolution of each issue. During the reception, citizens mainly raised issues concerning employment, social protection, public utilities, housing, and financial assistance.
Behind every appeal lies a human destiny, heavy thoughts, and hope. Below are some excerpts from such heart-wrenching appeals:
"After we finished building the house, we were summoned to court..."
“I bought an unfinished house in the ‘Yolchilar’ neighborhood. The previous owner said, ‘I will legalize your documents.’ We trusted him. After finishing the construction of the house, I underwent a lung surgery and gave birth to my third child. Some time later, I was taken to court under the pretext that ‘you built an illegal house.’ I was deceived... Where should I go now?” — says Dina Rizbayeva, unable to hide her tears.
"Raising a daughter alone..."
“My daughter is a third-year student at the medical institute. We cannot afford to pay the tuition fee. Living on my own, I struggled hard to educate my older child as well. We don't even have a shelter... Please help me, my dear mayor,” — says 73-year-old Ziyoda Nagmetova with tears in her eyes.
The City Mayor listened to this issue as well with close attention, outlined appropriate measures to resolve it positively, and took its execution under his personal control.
Thankful for what we have been given!
