President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the ongoing construction work in New Tashkent.

The head of state first visited the Directorate for the Construction of New Tashkent. Here, based on a large-scale layout and a digital map of the city, information was presented on the progress of construction, the relative placement of major facilities, and further construction plans.

The issues of harmonious development of transport and engineering infrastructure with construction, interconnection of green areas and public spaces, and the integration of New Tashkent with the existing territory of the capital were considered. It was emphasized that all projects must be implemented based on a holistic urban planning concept, ensuring high quality and architectural harmony.

After that, the President got acquainted with the campus of the National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan named after Nizami, which is being built in New Tashkent.
