Today, in the "Specialized in Kurash Sport" sports hall in our capital, a "Five Initiatives Olympiad" competition in the "Kurash" sport is taking place among the youth from the neighborhoods of Nukus city.

The winners will be determined within the next few hours.

The "Five Initiatives Olympiad" includes 26 projects. While 13 of the projects are contests, 13 are sports competitions. All youth aged 14-30 living in Uzbekistan can participate in these competitions. Last year, the olympiad was also held in five priority directions.

The first is at the neighborhood level. In it, sports competitions were organized for youth living in the neighborhoods, and the main goal was to increase their physical activity. The second was held among students of higher education institutions, and special sports programs were developed for students. The third is competitions for students of professional education institutions. In this, special attention is also paid to popularizing sports among students of vocational schools and technical schools. The fourth is held among school students, where the main goal is to encourage children to do sports from an early age and to expand sports activities in schools.
