The meeting was attended by the World Bank's Regional Director for Central Asia, Naji Benhassin, the World Bank's Program Coordinator for Uzbekistan, Anastassiya Aleksandrova, and the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance, Ilkhomjon Umrzakov.
During the dialogue, the parties thoroughly discussed issues of further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation. In particular, special attention was given to bringing cooperation with the International Development Association (IDA) to a new level, implementing highly effective projects that contribute to ensuring sustainable economic growth, as well as promoting promising initiatives aimed at supporting the consistent development of Uzbekistan's economy.
Additionally, during the discussions, the parties exchanged views on strengthening macroeconomic indicators, ensuring sustainable development, developing cooperation processes with international financial organizations, and priority plans for the future.
At the conclusion of the negotiations, an agreement was reached on developing mutual cooperation, establishing permanent and effective dialogue mechanisms, and expanding collaboration in supporting economic reforms.
