Uzbek Delegation Takes Part in International Forum “Digital Tajikistan 2025”

The event brought together representatives of government agencies, IT companies, experts, and international organizations at both regional and global levels.
The forum agenda focused on best practices in developing the digital economy, enhancing e-government systems, and introducing artificial intelligence and digital public services.
In his address, Minister Shermatov outlined the large-scale reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan in the fields of e-government and the digital economy. He highlighted efforts to expand access to digital public services for citizens and businesses, ensure information security, and promote digital literacy.
Forum participants were also briefed on Uzbekistan–Tajikistan cooperation in the digital sphere, including IT personnel training, startup ecosystem development, and joint implementation of digital projects.
During the visit, the Uzbek delegation familiarized itself with Tajikistan’s recent achievements in digital infrastructure development and public service digitization efforts.
