Minister Discusses Prospects for Cooperation with EY on Technology and AI Development

The meeting focused on opportunities to further develop Uzbekistan’s technology and innovation ecosystem, with particular emphasis on artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and identifying priority areas where Uzbekistan can build a competitive position in the global market.

The parties discussed approaches to attracting international technology companies and investment, strengthening the country’s technology services export potential, and developing a skilled workforce aligned with evolving industry needs.

Particular attention was given to translating technology development initiatives into tangible economic outcomes, especially the creation of new, high-quality and well-paid jobs.

The Ministry and EY expressed mutual interest in further cooperation and exploring practical next steps, including engagement with IT Park and Enterprise Uzbekistan, to support Uzbekistan’s long-term technology development ambitions.
