Uzbekistan and Malaysia are entering a new phase of cooperation in agriculture.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the further expansion of cooperation in the agricultural sector between the two countries and the implementation of joint projects in promising areas.
At the meeting, a thorough analysis of existing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Malaysia was conducted, along with an exchange of views on a number of important areas in the agricultural sector. Particular attention was paid to expanding the export of fruits, vegetables, and dried fruits, establishing intensive orchards, developing poultry and livestock farming, and introducing advanced rice cultivation methods.
Prospective proposals for the digitalization of agriculture, the effective use of artificial intelligence and unmanned technologies, and the introduction of modern management systems were also discussed. The parties noted that the widespread use of innovative solutions in the agricultural sector will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of agriculture in both countries.
During the meeting, proposals were put forward for coordinating projects implemented with Malaysia, establishing joint centers and representative offices, and strengthening scientific and practical cooperation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to take mutually beneficial cooperation to a new level, implement joint initiatives, and further strengthen their long-term partnership in the agricultural sector.
