Cooperation Issues on AI Infrastructure Development with NVIDIA and Firebird Discussed

A meeting was held between the Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, Nicolo Caprez, Vice President for Global AI Infrastructure Development at NVIDIA, as well as Alexandr Yesayan, President of Firebird, and Razmig Hovaghimian, Managing Director of Firebird, to discuss prospects for the development of artificial intelligence infrastructure in Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the guests were presented with ongoing reforms in the field of artificial intelligence in Uzbekistan, including incentives and preferences provided for AI data centers in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, current projects being implemented in the country, as well as initiatives aimed at training qualified specialists.
In addition, representatives of NVIDIA and Firebird presented a major artificial intelligence infrastructure initiative. Within the framework of the project, a proposal to construct a high-capacity AI data center with scalable power ranging from 125 MW to 250 MW was discussed.
