Issues Discussed Within the Framework of the European Union’s “Connectivity for Central Asia” Programme

Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov held a meeting with Charlotte Adriaen, Head of the Central Asia and Afghanistan Unit at the Directorate-General for International Partnerships of the European Commission (DG INTPA), and Toivo Klaar, Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the infrastructure agenda and discussed prospects for cooperation under the European Union’s regional programme “Connectivity for Central Asia”.
The discussions focused on priority tasks and key areas of cooperation aimed at strengthening regional connectivity across Central Asian countries within the framework of the programme.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed the importance of ensuring the consistent continuation of cooperation within the framework of the programme.
