Inspection for Control in the Sphere of Construction and Housing and Communal Services under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan

A scientific and practical training program dedicated to seismic safety is being held at Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul Aydın University, Kandilli Observatory and Beylikdüzü Disaster Education Center in Istanbul, Turkey. Specialists from the Regional Control Inspectorate for Construction and Housing and Communal Services are also actively participating in this training program. During the program, participants are familiarizing themselves with the best practices in the Republic of Turkey in ensuring seismic safety, risk analysis, emergency response, development of engineering solutions and increasing the seismic resistance of buildings. Within the framework of the training program, the delegation members also got acquainted with the activities of civil engineering laboratories, emergency training centers, research institutes and large structures equipped with seismic protection systems. They also participated in meetings and presentations organized at the Istanbul Project Design Organization, Gürlek Nakipoğlu Anatolian Lyceum and Yeditepe University. This scientific and practical training program allows regional inspectors to exchange international experience, learn modern construction standards, and seismic engineering approaches.
