The Press Service is responsible for covering the activities of the city administration and its subordinate organizations, reporting on events and developments taking place in the region, establishing and maintaining public relations, and ensuring the administration's effective presence in the media space.

The main responsibilities of the Press Service include:

• Participating in the development and implementation of the information policy defined by the Mayor of Namangan City in accordance with modern requirements;
• Providing the general public with objective, high-quality, and timely information about the activities of the city administration and its sector-related regulatory and legal documents;
• Cooperating with mass media outlets, disseminating information materials (including press releases, bulletins, and similar publications), and organizing public events;
• Developing web resources on the Internet, including social media and mobile platforms;
• Monitoring and analyzing the information environment, preparing proposals in cooperation with experts regarding the forms, methods, and levels of response to information trends, and organizing comprehensive activities for the dissemination of materials through mass media, including online platforms.
