As part of Youth Day, the mayor of the city, Ayubkhon Kamalov, got acquainted with the activities of Namangan City Technical School No. 2, located in the Dashtbog neighborhood of Namangan.
Today, 1,795 students are being educated in 10 specialties at the technical school by 100 qualified teachers. This year, 637 young graduates are expected to enter independent life. It is also planned to organize short-term training courses in 7 specialties at the technical school in order to increase the interest of young people in the profession.
One of the priority tasks of the educational institution is to develop a dual education system, combine theoretical knowledge with practice, and direct young people to professions that are in high demand in the labor market.
During the visit, the mayor reviewed an exhibition of products made by students and highly praised the talent and practical skills of young people.
