Today, the grand opening ceremony of the buildings of this higher educational institution took place. The event was attended by representatives of the regional public, intellectuals, elders, youth, and foreign partners of the University.
The governor of Namangan region, Shavkatjon Abdurazzoqov, spoke about the great attention paid to the sphere of education under the leadership of our esteemed President and its effectiveness.
Taking our region as an example, in 2017 only 11 thousand students studied in 3 higher educational institutions. To date, the number of higher educational institutions in Namangan has reached 9. The number of students has increased 8.5 times, and the higher education enrollment rate has risen from 5 to 42.4 percent.
It was emphasized that the buildings of the Namangan branch of the Tashkent Chemical International University, with their unique design, enhance the beauty of the "New Namangan City."
The regional governor familiarized himself with the conditions in the new university building, the achievements of university students, and the opportunities created for them.
