The competition "For the Battle Banner of Amir Temur" has begun

The opening ceremony of this prestigious competition, which is held once every two years, was held the day before. Veterans, military personnel, cadets and students took part in the event.
The Deputy Minister of Defense, who spoke at the ceremony, wished all participants success and good luck in the upcoming competitions, and especially emphasized that, following the motto of the great Sokhibkiron Amir Temur "Strength in Justice", each condition of the competition should be assessed fairly and impartially.
During the event, demonstration performances of the Honor Guard platoon and paratroopers of the Chirchik Higher Tank Command and Engineering School took place. Songs and melodies performed by the military orchestra gave the participants an upbeat mood. On the first day of the competition, a national kurash competition was held with the participants. The progress of the intense and uncompromising competition was assessed by judges of the National Kurash Federation.
The first stage of the competition includes the following areas:
a) combat service activities:
inspection-competition;
sports competitions;
contests;
b) professional training:
trainings and classes;
inspection tests;
control (final) tests;
c) moral and psychological training:
state of military discipline;
information on law and order.
At the second (final) stage of the competition, a special commission of the Ministry of Defense summarizes the results of various international and republican competitions. Along with this, there will be competitions in national sports and knowledge of national values, in which teams of military districts (associations) participate.
The winner is the military district that took 1st place in the competition and is awarded the "Battle Banner of Amir Temur", a 1st degree diploma and a valuable gift.
On the eve of the celebration of January 14 – Defenders of the Motherland Day, the military district that won the competition was solemnly awarded the “Battle Banner of Amir Temur” by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
