First, a general exercise "Submission" was demonstrated with service dogs. Then, the dog handlers of the two countries exchanged opinions on the issues of carrying out preventive measures for the maintenance of service dogs, their care, their feeding, as well as the provision of high-quality and first aid to sick dogs, their treatment and the provision of other necessary veterinary care.
"Having familiarized ourselves with the conditions created at the Center for the training of service dogs, we witnessed how much attention is paid to this area," says lieutenant Garrad Rudolfi Luigi. "The Center organizes the process of training service dogs at a very high level, starting from their birth until they become real service dogs. The veterinary services provided to dogs fully comply with the standards. We exchanged opinions and shared experiences with colleagues from Uzbekistan. I think this will be mutually beneficial for both parties in their future professional activities.
– Together with representatives of the Italian canine service, we conducted training sessions on the use of modern information and communication systems when performing combat missions using service dogs, the use of communication tools for remote control of service dogs, searching for armed criminals using a CCTV camera and neutralizing them, – says Senior Lieutenant Zhavlon Nizomov. – This will serve as an exchange of opinions and an improvement of skills. Such joint training will ensure the further improvement of our professional activities and the effective use of service dogs during combat operations.
During the practical training, an exchange of experience on issues of interest to the parties took place, and issues of further deepening cooperation in the canine sphere were discussed.
