The competition was attended by 18 teams representing military districts, the Armed forces academy and the Chirchik higher tank command and engineering school.

As is known, in order to improve the level of combat training of the troops of the Ministry of Defense, improve the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of servicemen of military units and institutions, create healthy competition among personnel, increase coherence and a sense of military brotherhood among servicemen, competitions are held annually among contract servicemen within the framework of the Army games under the motto "Men - gholib!".

The "Best mountain assault group" competition was held in two areas: individual and group performance of special tasks.

In the competition, which was held in a tense and uncompromising struggle, special attention was paid to such qualities as ensuring the constant readiness of mountain assault groups, their mobilization, ensuring the coherence of actions during combat operations and special events, the level of preparedness of military personnel to perform tasks and special events in mountainous terrain, as well as the preparedness of military personnel to endure heavy physical and psychological stress.

According to the results of the competition among special operations units, 3rd place was taken by teams of military units of the Eastern military district and the South-Western Special military district, 2nd place went to a team of another military unit of the Eastern military district and the honorable 1st place was awarded to the team of the military unit of the Tashkent military district. Among the intelligence units and teams of higher military educational institutions, the 3rd place was taken by the teams of the Chirchik higher tank command and engineering school and the military unit of the North-Western military district, the 2nd place was taken by the team of the military unit of the Termez garrison, and the honorable first place went to the team of the military unit of the Tashkent military district.

The winners and prize-winners of the review competition were awarded cups, diplomas and valuable gifts.
