DEAR CITIZENS,
As you may know, on January 3 of this year, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed Resolution No. PQ–1 “On measures to create a safe environment in the mahallas of the Republic in 2025 and to further improve the effectiveness of the early prevention of offenses.”
This document serves as an important strategic guideline for ensuring public safety, preventing offenses, and taking preventive work to a new level throughout the country.
In order to implement the provisions of this resolution, the Mirishkor District Department of Internal Affairs, in cooperation with relevant agencies and organizations, has carried out a number of targeted and systematic measures aimed at curbing crime and creating a stable and secure environment in the communities.
As a result of these efforts, not a single case of murder, robbery, assault, or hooliganism was registered in the territory of our district during the first half of 2025. The number of moderate bodily injuries has also decreased compared to the same period last year.
Nevertheless, there are still areas of concern. In particular, despite ongoing preventive work, 36 cybercrimes have been recorded in the district so far this year. Additionally, the number of theft offenses has increased by 57% compared to the same period last year.
Nowadays, various forms of cybercrime pose a serious threat to the financial interests, personal data, and social activity of our citizens. Therefore, it is essential that every citizen has the necessary knowledge and awareness to protect themselves and their loved ones from such threats.
The following key recommendations will help protect you and your family from cybercrime:
