Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan

During the tour, the management of JSC Uzbekcoal provided information on the ongoing projects in the Republic's coal industry and plans for the future.

The media representatives were shown the processes of coal stripping, mining, sorting and delivery of coal to consumers at the Angren coal mine.

The event also provided recommendations on the quality of local coal, proper storage at home and rules for its use. It was noted that when coal is extracted from the deposit, loess, limestone, coloured, grey and secondary kaolin and other non-metallic materials are also extracted. These minerals can be processed, enriched and supplied to manufacturers of building materials, ceramics and porcelain.

During the press tour, Uzbekcoal JSC managers and staff were on hand to answer questions and provide explanations.
