A system for monitoring the stress-strain state of the earth's crust and anthropogenic earthquakes associated with the extraction of solid minerals has been set up at the territory of the Kalmakyr and Yoshlik I mines of AMMC.

This system is aimed at identifying the peculiarities of anthropogenic seismicity in the regions of solid minerals extraction and studying seismic processes.

Its main goal is to create a local network of highly sensitive seismic stations, study the seismic regime parameter base, and predict changes in the deformation stress of the territory by analysing results based on geophysical data.

In order to launch the monitoring system, a local observation network consisting of 4 seismic and 1 magnetometric observation stations was created in the territory of Kalmakyr and Yoshlik I mines. Also measurements of magnetometric profile consisting of 9 measuring points were created.

Seismic and geophysical observations are currently ongoing.
