Navoiuran State Enterprise: On works carried out by the Zirabulak geological exploration expedition

Zirabulak’ Geological Exploration Expedition of the Research and Development Centre “Geology of Uranium and Rare Metals” under the State Enterprise “Navoiuran” through its geological exploration works conducts research of prospective uranium deposits on the slopes of Ziyavudin and Karatepa mountains in Kyzyltepa, Kasan, Mubarak and Nurabad districts of the republic.
Based on the results of geological exploration works carried out within the framework of prospective thematic projects, new promising areas are identified.
The expedition's employees have surveyed and are carrying out drilling works at sites and ore fields in Nurabad and Kyzyltepa districts of Navoi region, as well as in Mubarak district of Kashkadarya region.
With the help of 10 drilling rigs of Zirabulak geological exploration expedition 170 thousand linear metres were drilled in 2023, and by the end of this year it is planned to increase this figure to 240 thousand linear metres.
