Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On June 4–6, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Ibrokhim Ergashev conducted a site visit to assess the operations of chemical industry enterprises in the Navoiy and Bukhara regions.

This working visit was organized pursuant to the directives issued during the June 2 meeting chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev. The primary objective of the mission was to practically evaluate opportunities for expanding the export potential of the region's sector-specific enterprises.

During the visit, manufacturing processes and current operational challenges were reviewed in detail at Navoiyazot JSC, Sogda Kimyo Zavod LLC, Zarafshon Industrial Technology FE LLC, Unigroup Navoiy FE LLC, and Aerosol East FE LLC.

Additionally, an open dialogue session with representatives of exporting companies was held on June 6 in the Bukhara region. Manufacturers had the opportunity to directly articulate their pressing concerns and discuss required state support measures with the ministry leadership.

Solutions to all raised issues were determined on-site. The designated executives were instructed to cooperate closely with relevant line ministries and local government authorities to promptly eliminate the identified bottlenecks and to formulate systemic proposals to prevent the recurrence of such issues in the future.
