Adminstration of the Margilan city, Fergana region

In the city of Margilan, important initiatives are being implemented to enhance women’s social activity and further strengthen their role and influence in society. One of such noble events took place at the City Cultural Center.

The contest, organized at the initiative of the City Department for Family and Women’s Affairs, brought together women activists working in local neighborhood assemblies, who competed in the nomination “Most Exemplary Women’s Activist.”

Each participant highlighted her role in the social life of her community, her contribution to protecting women’s rights and interests, raising the younger generation, developing entrepreneurship, and strengthening family values.

During the contest, the participants’ work experience, initiative, and exemplary activities were fairly evaluated by the jury. The winners were awarded commemorative gifts and diplomas.

This contest is significant not only as a means of encouraging active women but also as an opportunity to set an example for others through their achievements and to pave the way for new initiatives.
