Yesterday, Deputy Minister of Culture Yusufjon Usmonov visited Namangan region on a working trip.
As part of his visit, Yusufjon Usmonov first attended a presentation at the No. 6 Cultural Center in Namangan city, where he reviewed documents and projects prepared by entrepreneurs for the modern reconstruction of several cultural centers based on public-private partnership (PPP) principles. These included:
- No. 25 "Joziba" Cultural Center in Namangan district,
- No. 32 "Farovon" and No. 31 "Nihol" Cultural Centers in Norin district,
- No. 72 "Humo" Cultural Center in Chust district,
- No. 64 "Iftikhor" Cultural Center in Chortoq district.
After the presentation, he visited the Namangan Regional Special Library for the Blind, where he closely examined its operations. He instructed officials to urgently submit proposals to the ministry for the library’s reconstruction under an investment program.
During his visit, Yusufjon Usmonov also inspected the No. 17 "Khushvaqt" Cultural Center in Kosonsoy district, which had been modernized under the PPP model. He identified several shortcomings and provided specialists with relevant instructions and recommendations for improvement.
