First Deputy Minister Bakhodir Ahmedov paid a business trip to Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions

Yesterday, the First Deputy Minister of Culture, Bahodir Ahmedov, was on a working visit to the Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions.
During the visit, he inspected the ongoing activities in the cultural sector and reviewed preparations for International Women's Day on March 8 and the nationwide Navruz celebration. The aim was to select talented young artists working in the fields of culture and art, create a creative environment for them, and discover new talents.
The visit included an evaluation of performances by young talents and folklore groups affiliated with the Jizzakh and Syrdarya branches of "O‘zbekkonsert," the Maqom Ensemble, and the Uzbekistan State Philharmonic. Newly created works by singers and musicians from these branches were also presented.
Additionally, Deputy Minister Ahmedov shared his thoughts on the activities of the "Theater Youth" club at the Syrdarya Regional Musical Drama Theater, as well as the efforts of the "Bodom Gullari" group from Syrdarya District, the "Sayhun Yigitlari" folklore group, and the "Dehqon Bolalari" ensemble from Gulistan District.
