The magnificent Friendship of Peoples Art Palace in our capital became the pinnacle of grand celebrations and festivities dedicated to January 14 – Homeland Defenders' Day. The event was attended by senators, deputies, government officials, military personnel, veterans of the Armed Forces, representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations, as well as the general public.
At the beginning of the event, Major General Shuxrat Xalmuxamedov, Minister of Defense, took the stage and read the congratulatory message of the President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces and Homeland Defenders' Day. Following this, the national anthem was performed.
The concert opened with a performance of "Amir Temur March" by Uzbekistan's Honored Artist Uchqun Tillayev. This march, glorifying bravery, courage, and devotion, seamlessly transitioned into a series of songs performed by the Central Song and Dance Ensemble of the Security Forces and amateur groups, praising the Motherland and the power of our national army.
Indeed, there is no one in the world who does not enjoy or love music. Melodies hold great wisdom, songs embody the mighty force of life, and limitless love is hidden within them. That is why music’s impact and its role in military-patriotic propaganda never lose their significance. Songs that celebrate bravery, courage, and dedication serve as a boundless source of strength, energy, and enthusiasm for Homeland Defenders.
Additionally, the event featured poetic performances by military personnel. The "Bulbulcha" Children's Choir and Dance Ensemble and students from the Republican Specialized Choreography Boarding School enriched the evening with their artistic performances. The young talents' passion for art and their creative abilities were clearly demonstrated, earning long and enthusiastic applause from the audience.
