Yesterday, the First Deputy Minister of Culture, Bahodir Ahmedov, was on an official visit to the Fergana region.

During the visit, the activities of cultural institutions in the city and districts, as well as the work carried out in the fields of culture and art in the Oltiariq and Rishton districts of Fergana, were reviewed.

During the official visit, the measures being taken by cultural and art institutions to implement the decrees and resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan were studied, and practical assistance was provided to them.

The activities, repertoires, and conditions created for the “Zilola” ensemble at the 42nd cultural center in Oltiariq district and the “Gulnoz” song and dance ensemble at the 46th cultural center in Rishton district were reviewed, and necessary guidance was provided for developing new programs.

Additionally, special attention was given to the activities of the libraries at the centers and their collections, and clear instructions were given to strengthen their material and technical base.

Moreover, the state of the centers' landscaping and preparations for the autumn-winter season were inspected, and recommendations and proposals were made for the work to be completed.

At the end of the day, a meeting was held with the heads of cultural departments and branch managers of the cultural centers. The achievements and shortcomings in the field of culture and art in the cities and districts were discussed, and necessary instructions were given to the relevant leaders and staff.
