On December 21, Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov visited the Internal Affairs Academy and met with the Academy's master's program students.
During the event, discussions focused on the noble works being carried out under the leadership of our esteemed President, the changes occurring in the lives of our people, and the reforms in the fields of art and culture.
Minister Ozodbek Nazarbekov emphasized the ongoing efforts to uplift human dignity and well-being in our country and acknowledged that the reforms in the cultural sector in recent years are highly appreciated by the international community.
The meeting highlighted the importance of deeply studying the ancient and rich culture of our homeland, educating the younger generation based on national values and the invaluable heritage of our ancestors, fostering patriotism, and promoting a sense of pride in our people. The minister also mentioned the many tasks ahead to expand the worldview of our compatriots.
"Representatives of the cultural sector, in collaboration with law enforcement agencies, especially the officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, should implement numerous preventive measures to prevent violations and crimes among youth, mobilize all efforts to ensure they grow up as patriots, and strengthen educational propaganda work to counteract ideological and informational threats to prevent them from falling under harmful ideologies," stated Ozodbek Nazarbekov.
During the meeting, participants were informed about the activities of the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan.
Additionally, Minister Ozodbek Nazarbekov familiarized himself with the facilities at the Internal Affairs Academy and watched a video showcasing the Academy's activities.
