Attention, attention! Announcing a competition for synopses for the creation of a full-length feature film titled "Triumph of Brotherhood".

The Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan announces a CONTEST for synopses of a full-length feature film titled “Victory of Brotherhood”, planned for production in collaboration with Turkic countries such as Uzbekistan, Turkey, and Kyrgyzstan!
The submitted synopses must emphasize core ideas such as mutual Turkic unity, eternal brotherhood, interethnic solidarity, intergovernmental economic, social, and political cooperation, as well as peace and harmony.
Additionally, the synopsis should feature the life story of Kyrgyz athlete Munarbek Seitbek uulu, his sports career, and his participation in the boxing competition in the flyweight category at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Special attention is given to the role of Uzbek coach Akmal Hasanov, who supported the athlete as his corner coach after his personal trainer was not accredited, helping him secure a silver medal.
This international project is based on real events, but the inclusion of fictionalized scenes to enrich the storyline is permitted.
Requirements for Synopses:
- Written in Uzbek and Russian, adhering to literary and orthographic rules.
- Format: A4, font "Courier New" size 12, line spacing 1.5, and a length of 3–5 pages minimum.
- The synopsis should include the main characters, their unique traits, key plotline, events, climax, and resolution.
- Film presentation (creative team, actors, locations, and other details).
The contest runs from December 17, 2024, to January 31, 2025. Synopses must be submitted to the Cinematography Agency along with the participant’s application, full name, and brief information about themselves.
Note!
Submitted synopses will not be reviewed or returned to their authors.
Synopses containing ideas that contradict the Constitutions of the Republics of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, violate the countries’ laws or sovereignty, or promote violence, ethnic or religious hatred, will be rejected outright.
