During his official visit, Deputy Minister of Culture Murodjon Majidov traveled to the Gurlan and Shovot districts of the Khorezm region to assess the progress of cultural and artistic initiatives and to inspect cultural institutions on-site.

As part of the visit, measures taken by cultural and artistic institutions to implement Presidential Decrees and Resolutions were reviewed, and practical assistance was provided.

Specifically, the implementation and adherence to Resolutions No. PQ-406 of December 25, 2023, “On measures to further enhance the level of cultural services provided to the population,” and No. PQ-405, “On additional measures for the protection, scientific study, and promotion of intangible cultural heritage,” were examined.

The Deputy Minister visited the following institutions: in the Gurlan district – Cultural Centers No. 8 “Pahlavon Mahmud” and No. 9 “Iqbol” and Children’s Music and Arts School No. 9; in the Shovot district – Cultural Centers No. 56 “Oydin Hayot”, No. 57 “Komiljon Otaniyozov”, No. 48, as well as Children’s Music and Arts Schools No. 8 and No. 17.

The inspection focused on the landscaping and preparation of cultural institutions for the autumn-winter season, and guidance and suggestions were provided on tasks that needed to be completed.

Based on the findings of the visit, specific assignments were issued to responsible parties. Officials who demonstrated negligence in their duties were given formal warnings.
