Yesterday, the Center for Supporting Talented Youth under the Ministry of Culture held the national selection round of the “Talents of New Uzbekistan” competition.

Over 1,500 young people participated in the regional stages, with nearly 200 talented individuals advancing to the national round.

Individual creators and teams aged 18 to 32 competed in 10 categories during the competition.

Winners of the national stage will participate in an award ceremony scheduled for February 2025, organized in collaboration with the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan.

For reference: The selected young talents will be mentored by renowned artists throughout the year under the “Ustoz-Shogird” tradition, creating new artistic works together. Additionally, winners will participate in state events and Uzbekistan’s cultural days abroad, with their works receiving extensive coverage on the channels of Uzbekistan’s National Television and Radio Company.
