Today, December 3, the Ministry of Culture hosted a meeting between the leadership of several TV channels and Sirojiddin Usarov, the head of the Ministry's press service and adviser to the Minister on information policy matters.
The meeting focused on plans for joint activities in 2025. Specifically, participants discussed enriching the information space with national content that aligns with modern demands and the needs of our people, creating media products that promote patriotism, national identity, and the rich heritage of great ancestors, as well as boldly advancing our national interests and goals in the global information arena.
In addition, the meeting delved into the challenges of creating national content and explored ways to address them. The importance of counteracting the negative influence of mass culture, which seeks to dominate in today's globalization process, on the values, spirituality, customs, traditions, and history of our nation was emphasized. Participants highlighted the need to develop and actively promote national content to the wider public.
