A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Minister Ozodbek Nazarbekov on the use of energy resources and preparations for the autumn-winter season in 2024-2025.

Today, on November 28, a meeting chaired by the Minister of Culture, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, was held to discuss the issues of improving energy resource efficiency and preparations for the autumn-winter season of 2024–2025.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Yusufjon Usmanov, staff of the central apparatus of the ministry, and regional system leaders who participated online.
During the meeting, the implementation of decisions made by the President, outlined in Resolution No. 118 of 2023, was reviewed. According to these decisions, in 2023–2024, local authorities signed 110 agreements with entrepreneurs on the modernization and operation of heating systems at 260 facilities based on DXSH contracts. However, as a result of a review conducted by the General Prosecutor's Office, several shortcomings in the execution of these agreements were identified. Relevant tasks were assigned to the responsible officials.
In the next part of the meeting, the approval of targeted indicators for the economic savings of electricity and natural gas by sector for 2024, as outlined in Resolution No. 222 of June 14, 2024, was reviewed. During the videoconference chaired by the President on July 12, 2024, a directive was issued to achieve an additional 10% reduction in energy consumption. To implement this directive, a “Roadmap” was developed in collaboration with the Prosecutor General’s Office to improve energy efficiency and savings for the second half of 2024 (September–December). The roadmap aims to achieve savings of 338,000 kWh of electricity and 76,000 cubic meters of natural gas during this period.
At the conclusion of the meeting, relevant tasks were assigned to the responsible officials, and there were reminders of the need to complete these tasks within the specified deadlines.
