A meeting was held in Fergana to increase the effectiveness of the fight against corruption in the cultural sector

Yesterday, a meeting was held at the Specialized Art School in Fergana city on the topic "Increasing the effectiveness of combating corruption in the cultural sector and preparing for the autumn-winter season."
The meeting was attended by Komiljon Rahimov, a responsible officer from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the Fergana Regional Prosecutor's Office, Andalibjon Latipov, as well as deputies of the department head, Eminjon Orinov and G'ofurjon Ergashev.
During the meeting, important organizational and legal reforms in the fight against corruption in our country were highlighted. In particular, systemic measures aimed at raising the legal awareness and culture of the system’s employees, as well as forming a resolute attitude toward corruption in society and preparing for the autumn-winter season, were discussed.
In recent years, under the direct initiative of the President, systemic reforms have been carried out in our country to further develop the nation, ensure the well-being of the people, and enhance human dignity.
During the meeting, President Sh.M. Mirziyoyev's speeches were referenced, where he emphasized the necessity of taking firm actions to ensure the implementation of laws regarding the fight against corruption, the prevention of various crimes, and other violations, with appropriate punishment for criminals.
Participants were provided with information on the measures and practical work to combat corruption within the Ministry of Culture. Furthermore, they were informed about a number of programs developed for 2024.
Komiljon Rahimov, the speaker, provided detailed information to the participants regarding the content of the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 6, 2021 (PF-6257) and the Resolution (PQ-5177).
