In accordance with the Presidential Decree No. PQ-258 dated July 16, 2024, "On the wide celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the eminent Karakalpak poet and philosopher Ajiniyoz Qosiboy og‘li," a ceremonial literary and artistic evening of remembrance dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Ajiniyoz Qosiboy og‘li's birth was held at the Alisher Navoi State Academic Grand Theater of Uzbekistan.
This literary and artistic evening was attended by prominent state and public figures, writers and poets, representatives of culture and art, neighborhood activists, scholars, students and schoolchildren, the general public, and representatives of the media.
The eminent Karakalpak poet and philosopher Ajiniyoz Qosiboy og‘li, with his unique and profound works, made a significant contribution to the development of our people's culture and literature, the upbringing of the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and noble ideals, as well as the strengthening of the centuries-old friendship and unity between the Uzbek and Karakalpak peoples. The humanistic philosophical views reflected in his poems and epics have deeply resonated in the hearts of our people.
This great figure, who studied at the famous Shergozixon and Qutlimurod Inoq madrasahs in Khiva, gained fame not only in our country but throughout the region as a popular poet, an outstanding teacher and mentor, and a skilled calligrapher. His beautiful works are lovingly read by Turkmens, Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, and other fraternal peoples.
The inclusion of the 200th anniversary of Ajiniyoz Qosiboy og‘li's birth in UNESCO's list of international anniversaries also highlights the universal significance of his creative legacy.
