A photo exhibition "Uzbekistan - a welcoming land" is being held in the capital as part of the "Hospitality Week"

As you know, these days, within the framework of the "Week of Tolerance" program, on November 12, a photo exhibition titled "Uzbekistan – a Tolerant Land" was organized at the Tashkent Photography House. The event was attended by representatives of the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendship with Foreign Countries under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Committee for Religious Affairs, the Academy of Arts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent Photography House, as well as leaders and activists of friendship societies and media representatives.
The aim of the exhibition was to once again demonstrate to the public the stability of interreligious and interethnic relations in our country and to preserve and develop these values.
At the solemn opening of the exhibition, the advisor to the Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, Kakhramon Qoldoshev, congratulated everyone on the Week of Tolerance and emphasized that issues of interethnic harmony, religious tolerance, and peaceful coexistence are among the most important and priority directions of our state policy. He noted that the photos exhibited tell about the interethnic and interreligious friendship in Uzbekistan.
The Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Azamat Toshev, also congratulated everyone on the holiday and noted that today in our country, representatives of more than 130 nations and ethnic groups live together like members of one family, peacefully and harmoniously. Over 16 religious organizations freely carry out their activities. They unite for the prosperity of our common homeland – Uzbekistan, working selflessly in various sectors and contributing to the development of the country. He also emphasized that the participation of our fellow citizens of different nationalities in the international arena and their work helps to strengthen peace and stability in the country, and this is reflected in the exhibition.
Zulkhaydar Sultonov, an official of the Committee for Religious Affairs, pointed out that the photographs presented at the exhibition reflect the interethnic harmony and religious tolerance prevailing in our country. He emphasized that this event plays an important role in maintaining peace, security, and the development of our multiethnic society in Uzbekistan and contributes to ensuring stability and peace in the country.
The exhibition, which includes about 60 photos, speaks about interethnic harmony and religious tolerance in Uzbekistan.
The "Uzbekistan – a Tolerant Land" photo exhibition will continue until November 14.
