Yesterday, on November 12, Deputy Minister of Culture Bahodir Ahmedov was on a working visit to the Namangan region.
On the first day of the visit, Bahodir Ahmedov visited the Puppet Theater in Namangan city, where he familiarized himself with the theater’s activities and the conditions created. He discussed with the theater team the responsibility of actors, the need to improve their skills, and cultural development. Bahodir Ahmedov provided recommendations on maintaining unity in the team, the necessity for creative search by the director, and focusing on the educational value of the plays, instilling national identity in the youth, and innovative approaches to stage decorations. He also participated in planting ornamental trees and flowers around the theater as part of the national project "Green Space."
He then visited Cultural Center No. 6, where he reviewed the repertoires of the region’s folklore and ethnographic groups. These included the “Yor-yor” group from Namangan city, “Yallama-yorim” from Uchkurgan district, “Uychi tongi” from Uychi district, and “Hazratibob” from Pop district, “Omon-yor” from Chust district, and “Dilxush” from Kosonsoy district. During the discussions with the group members, Bahodir Ahmedov emphasized the importance of enhancing the performers' skills and focusing on the educational significance of the pieces being performed. He also participated in planting decorative trees around the building of the cultural center as part of the "Green Space" project.
During the visit, Bahodir Ahmedov also explored the work being done in the culture and arts sector in the Mingbulok and Namangan districts and familiarized himself with the activities of cultural institutions in these areas.
As part of the visit, the measures being taken to ensure the implementation of the President's decrees were reviewed, and practical assistance was provided in carrying out cultural events.
