A person’s comprehensive and harmonious development and well-being, the creation of conditions and effective mechanisms for realizing personal interests, and the transformation of outdated ways of thinking and social behavior are the primary goals and driving forces of the reforms being carried out in the republic. Forming a perfect system for training personnel based on the nation's rich intellectual heritage, universal values, and the achievements of modern culture, economics, science, technology, and innovations is a key condition for Uzbekistan's progress.
Recently, an open dialogue titled "Effectiveness of activities in developing human resources in the sector and supporting promising youth" was organized between the minister and graduating students. The dialogue was attended by the Minister of Culture, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, heads of relevant departments of the ministry's central office, the rector of the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan, Nodirbek Saifullayev, and graduating students of the institute.
During the dialogue, plans and proposals of the graduates involved in internships at the ministry's central office were reviewed, and recommendations were provided to help them lay a solid foundation for their future careers.
The dialogue consisted of two parts. The first part provided information on the work carried out in the direction of developing and managing human resources. In the second part, the minister discussed future plans with promising students and addressed issues of adequately preparing young professionals and forming a talent pool.
This initiative, launched by the minister, envisions the gradual inclusion of students from higher educational institutions under the ministry's jurisdiction. At the end of the dialogue, the students were assigned to heads of the ministry's structural units, and it was emphasized that responsible employees of the central office are personally accountable for guiding the young professionals.
By the end of the academic year, the interns will complete their practice at the ministry and be recommended for suitable positions in the system. Additionally, these young individuals will maintain regular contact with the minister, exchange sector-related information, and assist in implementing reforms in the field.
During the dialogue, the Minister of Culture answered the graduates' questions and asked the students about the knowledge they acquired during their studies.
It was emphasized that such dialogues will continue. The students promised to return with ambitious plans and proposals in the future.
