Yesterday, the First Deputy Minister of Culture, Avazkhon Tadzhikhanov, visited Khorezm region on a business trip to study the activities of local cultural institutions.
On the first day of the trip, visits were made to educational institutions and cultural centers in the Shovot, Gurlan, and Urgench districts. The implementation of Presidential decrees and resolutions in cultural and artistic institutions was reviewed, and practical assistance was provided.
During the visit, Avazkhon Tadzhikhanov explored the cultural centers and institutions in Urgench city, Gurlan, and Shovot districts.
In particular, inspections were conducted at:
- Gurlan district: "Pahlavon Mahmud" (No. 8) and "Iqbol" (No. 9) cultural centers, Children's Music and Art School No. 9, and the library for the visually impaired.
- Shovot district: "Nafosat" (No. 49) and "Oydin Hayot" (No. 56) cultural centers, as well as Children's Music and Art School No. 10.
Following this, Avazkhon Tadzhikhanov reviewed the construction process of the new building for the Khorezm regional branch of the Uzbekistan State Philharmonic in Urgench city. He provided instructions on ensuring optimal facilities for the creative team, including dance rehearsal rooms, a small auditorium, and ensemble rehearsal spaces.
The First Deputy Minister also visited the Urgench Specialized Art Boarding School, where he assessed the training process and issued directives to address existing shortcomings.
The visit continued at the Khorezm Musical Drama Theater, where he observed the staging process of the play "Padarkush" (Patricide) and set tasks for its finalization.
On the next day of the business trip, Avazkhon Tadzhikhanov visited educational institutions in Urgench.
- He observed training sessions and student exams at Children's Music and Art School No. 1, named after Anna German.
- He also visited the Urgench Specialized Primary Dance Boarding School and the Urganch branch of the Choreography Academy, where he examined student conditions and educational activities.
Additionally, he held meetings with entrepreneurs interested in establishing public-private partnership (PPP)-based cultural centers in Gurlan, Khazorasp, and Khiva districts.
During the business trip, the condition of educational facilities, heating systems for the winter period, and folklore-ethnographic ensembles' repertoires in cultural centers were evaluated.
