At the moment, the Minister of Culture, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, is on a business trip in the Navoi region.

The first destination of the visit was the Friendship Cultural Center No. 7 in the Konimex district of Navoi.

The Friendship Cultural Center serves 17,000 residents in seven neighborhoods of the district.

Currently, in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 50, cultural centers that are planned to be model institutions in each region are being renovated based on a targeted list.

Minister Ozodbek Nazarbekov closely examined the construction and renovation works at the cultural center. During the visit, he instructed officials to ensure more convenience for the center’s students and to use the latest technologies in the renovation process.

Next, he visited the Children's Music and Art School No. 4 in the Konimex district. The school building, designed for 150 students, currently provides training to 324 students in 13 disciplines of music and art.

During the visit, the minister presented a congratulatory letter to Qodir Jo‘raqulov on the occasion of his 70th birthday. Over nearly 50 years of professional activity, Jo‘raqulov has significantly contributed to the development of Uzbek vocal art and national culture, promoted it on an international scale, strengthened friendship between nations and ethnic groups, and helped young talents realize their potential.
