On December 12-13 of this year, with the aim of promoting the development of Maqam art, widely spreading modern composition traditions, and discovering creators focused on creating new works based on Maqam paths, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek National Maqam Art Center, the Union of Composers and Musicologists of Uzbekistan, the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, and the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan, in collaboration, announce the "Best Work Created in Maqam Paths" National Competition!
We invite all composers who wish to participate in the competition to join the National Competition, which will take place in December this year.
Participants must submit the following documents to the Uzbek National Maqam Art Center or the Union of Composers and Musicologists of Uzbekistan by December 10 of this year: link to documents
