Campaigns were held to prevent corruption and conflicts of interest

Yesterday, a working group from the Ministry of Culture, in order to ensure the implementation of the State Program for 2023–2024 aimed at fighting corruption, studied the situation regarding the fight against corruption in the activities of the Andijan regional department of culture.
The meeting, held in Andijan region, was attended by employees of the regional department of culture and other system organizations.
At the meeting, the responsible officer for the fight against corruption at the Ministry of Culture and a representative from the regional law enforcement agencies provided information on the content and essence of the Law on "Conflict of Interest" and the Ministry’s anti-corruption policy.
Additionally, the meeting discussed the adherence to the requirements of the Labor Code, compliance with the provisions set out in normative-legal documents, the implementation of other relevant legal documents in the field, compliance with the requirements of the Law on "State Procurement of the Republic of Uzbekistan" during procurement activities, and the prevention of conflict of interest situations.
At the end of the meeting, officials provided answers to questions from the sector employees.
