The First Deputy Minister of Culture, Bahodir Ahmedov, made an official visit to Jizzakh region to familiarize himself with the activities of cultural and art institutions.

During the visit, he studied the work of the cultural centers in the Do‘stlik and Mirzacho‘l districts of the region, and inspected exemplary cultural centers.

He also visited the folklore and ethnographic ensembles and existing clubs organized in cultural centers No. 8 in Do‘stlik district and No. 27 in Mirzacho‘l district.

At the end of the visit, a meeting was held in Mirzacho‘l district's Children’s Music and Art School No. 13, where the heads of theaters, concert and performance organizations, specialized art and children’s music and art schools, heads of cultural centers, and directors of culture departments gathered. The meeting focused on the achievements in the field and discussed the shortcomings with an analytical and critical approach.

During the meeting, tasks were assigned to accelerate the repair and equipping of exemplary cultural centers and to ensure their timely use. Additionally, responsibility was given for staffing children’s music and art schools with qualified specialists holding higher education degrees.
