On September 27, First Deputy Minister of Culture Bahodir Ahmedov was on a business trip to the Surkhandarya region.
During the visit, he familiarized himself with the activities of cultural and artistic institutions.
He also examined the operations of cultural centers under the district cultural departments in the Angor and Muzrabot districts and inspected model cultural centers undergoing renovation.
He reviewed the activities, working conditions, and repertoires of the "Angor" folklore-ethnographic ensemble in the Angor district and the "Muzrabot Chaman" folklore-ethnographic ensemble in the Muzrabot district.
At the end of the visit, he held an analytical and critical meeting with the heads of cultural and artistic institutions of the region at the Republican Specialized School-Internat for Bakhshi Art. During the meeting, achievements and shortcomings in the sector were discussed, and relevant tasks were assigned.
