Asif Ali Santo Khan was born on February 8, 1973, in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. He is a famous Pakistani singer who has held top positions at various international cultural festivals during his over 15-year-long artistic career.

He is the grandson of Master Santoo Khan (pen name of Mushtaq Ahmad) and the son of Master Manzoor Hussain, as well as the grandson of the famous Moula Bakhsh Qawwal, making him a descendant of prominent Pakistani spiritual masters.
