The delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly alongside delegations from nearly 130 countries. Speaking at the international forum, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Executive Office of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, outlined the country's foreign policy and socio-economic priorities.
During the session, Uzbekistan's clear position based on openness, good-neighborliness, and dialogue was emphasized amid growing global tensions and declining mutual trust. The speech addressed key topics including fundamental transformations in Central Asia, improving living standards, the Afghanistan issue, children's and women's rights, demographic stability, and the development of artificial intelligence. Special attention was also paid to the Aral Sea tragedy, environmental challenges, and the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent.
As stated from the international rostrum, no country can solve global problems alone. Therefore, Uzbekistan expressed its readiness to make a worthy contribution to building a future based on trust and mutual respect. Such international dialogues play a crucial role in ensuring the rule of law and consistently pursuing reforms aligned with international standards.
This participation demonstrates Uzbekistan's growing global initiatives and the strengthening of mechanisms to protect national interests under international law. Aligning oversight and dialogue mechanisms on the international stage ensures the transparency of domestic reforms and establishes a solid foundation for economic stability.
